Webring
diy
I've been thinking about webrings since I started this blog a few weeks ago and apparently so have lots of other people. I found this Github project and it seemed like the perfect staring place. So I forked it, updated the dependencies, and now I have my very own webring, Robot Friends.
My hope is that (a) I have friends with websites and (b) they want to join my
webring. If you are a friend with a website who thinks webrings are cool, please
consider making a Github PR and editing
src/data/members.json
to add yourself.
In the original repo, adding the webring banner involved embedding some Javascript on your web page, but that seems scary to me. So for mine I've provided some sample HTML with the necessary links that you can copy and paste to your website. The styling of the banner is up to you.
I hope you join me on my Web 1.0 adventure.
